MDWi AG does not offer grants or scholarships for students during studies. There are, however, numerous other German organisations providing a certain number of scholarships or grants. In order to qualify for such financial support, applicants must demonstrate above-average academic ability and particular social or political commitment – requirements which have to be proven before applying for financial support.

After getting study acceptance in Otto-von-Guericke University, students can apply for study VISA to the German Embassy in their country. Please check the requirements for Study VISA as they may change between one country and another.

In case of VISA delay, MDWi AG will help to extend students' University acceptance for one more semester, this will help students to get their VISA on time and start their studies in the next semester.

When you decide to pursue your education in Germany, you can contact us via email or telephone. We will guide you through the application process. We can only submit documents with original signature. Therefore, online application is not possible.

You can start your application at MDWI as soon as you have your high school diploma and your grades reports have been issued. The application deadline for the fall semester is August 15th, for the spring semester is Februar 15th. We have different deadlines than the university.

The minimum level of DSH exam is DSH-II.

It is possible to retake the DSH-exam once. However, you will have to wait 6 months in order to retake this exam.

The Federal Republic of Germany required that each student has a minimum of 720 EURO (out of a blocked account) as a monthly expense for living in Germany for one year. This amount is usually enough to cover public health insurance, rent and basic personal needs. The public transportation is free of charge for students in Magdeburg.
